Forgive the off-topic post, but no luck in sales/wanted areas, and folk in
here tend to be excellent sources of obscure assistance ...

I'm trying to get hold of a copy of Persuasion. This is a Powerpoint-type
package originally made by Aldus and later bought by Adobe. Unfortunately,
the package has been discontinued (despite v4 having only been launched a
few months ago), presumably blown out of the water by Powerpoint being part
of MS Office.

Aldus doesn't have any stock, nor does Adobe, nor does MacWarehouse,
MacEssentials or any of the smaller dealers I've tried.

Version 3 is ideally what I'm after.

Why do I need it? Powerpoint is useless for use with a projector, offering
no real layering facility - it's fine for text-only slides, but not for
ones with graphics.

Does anyone have a copy they no longer need? If so, do you want to convert
it to beer vouchers?
