I think I may have found an irritating minor bug in Claris Emailer 2.0v2 but would like to get a second opinion before I complain to Claris. I have found that if you use the reply facility to a message (quoting the original message) which was sent with an enclosure, while you are in the window of the reply to that particular email - there is excessive hard disk activity which continues on endlessly and (while it does not appear to effect what you are doing) prevents the screen saver from kicking in, (and probably effects other background processing as well). I have reinstalled the program, rebuilt the database etc, and allocated more memory but to no avail. It's bad enough that there is no facility to set ones correct email address for returned mail. This means that "bounced" mail is sent back to ones pop3 address (i.e. name@pop3.isp.com) so that (with many ISP set-ups) one is blissfully unaware that ones email has not reached its destination. Yours in moaning mode. -- Simon Phillips mailto:s@netcomuk.co.uk http://www.netcomuk.co.uk/~s
