You might want to have a look at GraphicConverter - available from
various web sites. This is a Mac/Power Mac application that can read and
write a very large number of graphic/image file formats. I use it all
the time to convert between various PC and Mac formats. I don't know for
certain, but one of them might be suitable for the Achimedes.

If not, you might get in contact with the author - he has added quite a
few custom formats and might be prepared to add the Archimeded format.

If you can't find Graphic Converter on the net, let me know and I'll
e-mail you a copy.
