Actually I have heard from News.com (don't know the exact date) that
Syquest is doing a lot better now than before. I would assume that it is
directly related to the SyJet, and some sort of restructuring. They are
going to soon release another drive that in many ways surpasses the Jaz or
SyJet in performance. I think it is called the Rocket.

I own a Syjet, and can confidently say that it is very stable and
reliable. I use it mostly for multimedia projects and backing up. It
performs above and beyond my expectations. I use Jaz's at work and the
SyJet, in my opinion, is a much better buy. I have not had any bad
experiences with their cartridges or drive.

The only problem I have is the software. I would recommend using HDT or
FWB as your main Disk toolkit.

Otherwise, I highly recommend the SyJet.
