A slight problem with Excel? I have 500k Excel doc which normally opens as fast as Excel does, albeit slowly. Just recently Excel opens and draws the window of the file but takes ages to actually deliver all the figures etc. If I open the file after having opened Excel then it opens in the blink of an eye. There is plenty of memory made available to it so this can't be the problem. I have just reinstalled the system software, Excel and the rest of my extensions etc. and lo and behold it opens fine again but after a while its back to go slow again. it doesn't appear to affect any other programs except maybe Filemaker is a bit slow opening. Any ideas? TIA
