Duff Mac :-(((

I've recently tried switching on my mac performa 6200 one evening and 
everyday since.. and nothing. :(((((

It worked fine at lunch time on the day... and the monitor is fine 
(plugs directly into the wall). I even tried different leads (ones which 
work) and not even a sound from the Mac.

Aaarrgghh.. the last time I backed up onto EZ carts was about 3 or so 
weeks ago. :(( bummer The HD has all the up to date databases...

I have phoned Gasteiner, and they have quoted me:

Diagnose: 25.00 +vat (refunded if repairs to take place)
Labour: 45.00 + vat per hour
Motherboard exchange: 195.00 +vat (if motherboard is found to be faulty)
PSU exchange: 115.00 + vat (if PSU faulty)

Argh. I can do without this hassle....

Any more ideas on what it could be or any suggestions as to some cheaper 
repair company in the London area?
