I have no experience of the Epson carts, only of refilling Canon ones. The
main limitation on those (about two refills before they got *really*
grotty) seemed to be scoring damage to the copper or bronze, not sure which
but soft as butter, print head. I presume that the Epson fixed heads are
something else again, and much harder. But the piezo technology ink
delivery was jolly impressive feom what I could see.

Photocopying paper seemed to work quite well with black and white printing.
Especially the "medium" quality which seems to deliver less ink, and is
certainly much, much faster. This is purely subjective on my part; I didn't
examine the output under a glass.

Is there such a thing as a cleaning fluid? With the old ink jets you could
use water and it worked. I presume that the Epson inks are waterproof, so
that probably wouldn't work. But there is probably some way of maintaining
the heads, apart from the automatic cleaning they seem to get at startup.
