Well, it *did* replace a Centris 610

A friend of mine just had his desktop G3 stolen

It's a *lot* faster than the Centris, and has rather more room on the HD.
There are a number of niggles - I didn't like the mouse, but a Logitech
wheel mouse seems to work OK (still waiting for the drivers so I can
program the buttons and use the wheel). The keyboard is small, but
otherwise not bad.
But then I could say much the same about the Centris (such as the stupid
idea of putting the power button right where the floppy eject button would
be if there was one). As the Centris lasted me for a good few years with
the odd expansion - and the G3 has even more potential there - I'm very
happy overall.
