I was surprised to lose all control of ppp in 8.5. it completely wiped ppp as i had it set up under open transport (in control panel) - in other words I no longer had two pretty Send and Receive *lcds* and a status window tellling me how long I had been connected.. Is there any way of reclaiming/showing this in 8.5? I have reinstalled ppp in the control panel but I get no *lcd* reading and it *wobbles* when displayed. What I am asking for under 8.5 is the ability to control when I log on and off to my ISP (independent of a browser/email) and the ability to see HOW LONG (very important) I have been on line. Any help appreciated. Trevor
