I've recently seen contradictory opinions about Netscape 3- some saying
it's now pretty stable, others saying don't touch it.

I'd like to try it on a 7500/100 with lots of RAM, running 7.5.2

Is this likely to be a happy experience?

At the moment I am happy-ish with 1.1N; I know the things that make it
bomb, and I can avoid them. I also have NetscapeHistory 1.1, which means I
can use NS more off-line than on. This suits me. Is there a similar
application that works for NS 3?

Finally, has anybody seen a Java or Shockwave event that was worth the
dowload time? Do they work reasonably with a 28,8 connection?
