I've tried to get such a card working on a Powermac 7500 with 128Mb
memory. When the card is installed and the power switched on there is
no chime, but the fan and hard drives spin up. I've tried a new card,
and have tried putting back the old card - which works fine.
Is this a software issue? There's a lot of control panel devices and
SCSI devices attached to the machine. I can't believe that this would
be the problem, but then I'm not a Mac expert.
