I have recently installed Office 98 on an IMac with OS9. All the Apps run
fine except Word which quits with a Visual Basic error - Unexpected Critical
Error, Can't start program.

I have trashed the prefs, zapped the pram and reinstalled Office to no
avail.

Anyone know of a solution?

Thanks

Have you tried installing any of the patches available from
Microsoft. There are some specifically for OS9 and earlier issues.
