Could anyone help out with this problem?

Also, as youre in the know, could you ask one of your technical people what
software I need to read still and moving images from my digital video via my
firewire terminal on my G3? Ive tried Adobe PhotoDeluxe but its no good -
too limited. The boy in the Mac shop says I need either editDV or motoDV.
The read me software on my Mac seems to imply that Adobe Premiere is
needed. All of these seem expensive solutions to me. One things for sure, I
cant access it via any of the software I have currently. What do you think?

Edit DV was recently given away as a free version of their software
IIRC. It was on a couple of cover discs anyway. What do Apple say? Have
you tried ringing them?

You can tell I don't read this group very often :-)

I use EditDV, which is an excellent program if you're even halfway
interested in video editing, though I admit it is quite expensive for
home use. Check out Digital Origin's web site, I think you can still
download EditDV Unplugged for free, which gives you basic capture and
editing facilities. http://www.digitalorigin.com

PS. Don't bother with Premiere!
