Does any one still use Free PPP ??

I've just installed OS8.6 and FreePPP won't work.

When a intrenet app calls for a conection Free ppp does its normal thig
but the internet app cant find
addresses or domain names etc and nothing is passed through to the
modem.
I've had a go with remote access which works ok but it doen;t have an
easy way to change numbers or ISP's

What have you got TCP set to use for making the connection? Have you
tried telling FreePPP to not allow applications to make a connection,
and establishing a connection by telling FreePPP to make a connection
directly?

Free ppp makes the connection OK (it dials the modem and makes the PPP

Navigator or any other program can't get through to the modem

Tcp/ip is set to freeppp and canfigure useing ppp

I've tryed making a conection with Free PPP manualy but 'navigator' or 'date
and time'
say they can't find the servers . The modem tx and rx lights don't even
flicker.

It's as though there's a break in the chin between navigator and Free PPP

Hmm... What name server addresses do you have entered?

Who can tell? Do you have PPP Menu installed? How about any faxing
software? What modem?

Rowland.
