> Has anyone repaired or replaced a faulty modem port? sort of... i had an internal modem on my performa 5200. when trying to use an external modem it first didn't work. a connection mac-gps device also didn't work. the modem port does not work properly with an internal modem! rip it out and your modemport will functionate as it should be. maybe this is completely out of your line, maybe it solves your problem. meine ___________________________________________ funduro.mania@menk.demon.nl http://www.menk.demon.nl/ BMW F650 'SixDays'
