I found a printer which I thought would do the job.
A samsung 5100A printer (USB + parallel ), with a keyspan USB card for my
Mac.
Has anyone else used this combination, since the Mac, although it recognises
the port, doesn't recognise the printer...

Is it a PostScript printer and if not, have you got a driver for it?
