I can confirm getting V.90 49333 on the Green Romp from 01609-88xxxx
using a Pace internal modem (Rockwell chipset).

Apparently not, but I don't know how it works OK.

Consistent failure to work may be due to telco routing or 
local exchanges rather than any problem at Demons end.
