I don't know if anyone from Demon will read this, but it may be
interesting to find out who is having what problems connecting to demon,
using what modem and dialling from where.  This is my contribution...


Problems with COLT 336, Energis 288 and local vPOP 288, using USR
Sportster Voice 336 Internal and Turnpike, from Birmingham via
Birmingham Cable.


Follow-up with the same info about your problems, and we'll see if any
kind of pattern emerges...
