USR 33.6 Voice Internal - Suitable Setup String?

Anyone have a suitable setup string to connect to the Ascends for the
USR 33.6 Voice Internal which is giving me no end of problems.  It's
hanging itself up mid-connect 2 out of three times.  

I used to use a Sportster 28.8 external which worked fine with the
default Windows 95 setup but not this stupid thing.  

USR really do produce some crap these days.
