When I connect to demon, I often get loopback reported by NT4, win95 does not
say this but something less precise.  The modem connects and then drops the
line, if I redial or auto redial its OK, but sometimes its 15p gone for nothing.
I use a courier with standard ATZ.  I have never had a problem with this with
prestel (they use couriers), but get lots of crc errors with them and never any
with demon, I have a hayes 1024 bit fifo port.  Seems yuu can not win either
way, but do not get any corrupt files at least.
