I was told before in this newsgroup that McAfee were a pile of poo, and
they proved it yesterday. When I tried to find out about this virus, my
auto-update program-thingy said 'There is no news or updates available
at this time'. I can understand that the site was busy, but when you
really need them, they let you down.
They eventually put up a warning and a fix, but this was sometime in the
afternoon. While the whole world was going on about the virus, McAfee's
site said 'There are no new viruses to report' or something like that.
I'm off to have a look at www.avp.ch
