The only reasonable over-clock option for a C466 is 7*75 (525), over-
clocking both PCI & AGP busses, 7x83 (581) usually pushes PCI too far
over the limit. If 466 was a typo, and you meant 366, then 5.5*100 is
much more acceptable, and 5.5*103 (566) should also be possible.

If you already have these chips, then the following advice isn't much
use, but if you don't then it might be worth considering.

The new 0.18um Celerons should be much more over-clockable than the
older 0.25um (which top out at about 600MHz). The C533A, C566 and C600
should reach 800/850/900 using 100MHz FSB. Certainly getting my PIII-550
running at 733 was the easiest over-clock of my life. The new 0.18um
chips are *much* cooler than the older 0.25um silicon (a consideration
in a dual CPU system), even when over-volting them (my P2B supports a
minimum of 1.8v where my PII-550 should use 1.6v).

There may be issues with using the new 0.18um Celerons in a dual
configuration, so I would do some more research, but IMO it would be
well worth it. The price differential between a C533A and a 'guaranteed'
C366 should not be that huge, for the increased performance and cooler
running.

Take care,

Mark..........
