I have a DEC on my hands right now that's differential. It's : identical to another drive I already own except that one's *normal* Differential SCSI uses differential line drivers - contrary to the "normal" single-ended (SE) drivers. Advantage: 25 m maximum bus length (6 m for SE, 3 m for FAST-SE). Less trouble with poor cables. The longer bus comes in handy when you need lots of devices (Wide SCSI supports to 16...). -- Ralf.
