I once bought a cable from a computer show (from Videk, I think).  It was a
VGA-Scart cable.  They said that as long as the TV had an RGB setting, it
should work fine.

It never did.  I could see something on the screen, but it was like the
v-hold was stuck on maximum overdrive.
