I recently fitted a DX4/100 overdrive into a PC at work, and immediately
tried clocking it to 120mhz. The PC only survived about 1/2 hour before
crashing, and it managed somehow to trash the hard drive... lucky I had a
backup.

I tried clocking my own Cyrix 5x86 to 120mhz. Somethings worked, most
stuff crashed, locked up, etc. No damage done though. Just switched back
to 100mhz and all's well. I know of at least one person who has clocked
his to 120mhz and it is working apparently perfectly.

My advice - back up your hard disk. Give it a try, you might get lucky!
