I've got an EISA motherboard with the marking: SFL40V0 on the back and the marking : 4SLUD 1.1 which has a UMC chipset and AMI BIOS. The board has a soldered on 486SX/25 and a socket for a second processor. I've added a DX2/50 to the socket for the second processor and the BIOS recognises that a coprocessor is installed and the Intel diagnostics confirm that a 50 MHz CPU is installed. SADLY, when the new processor is installed, the Norton Utilities CPU benchmark falls from 54 to 11 and doom runs a lot more slowly ! Looks like I need to mess with a jumper somewhere but I have no documentation telling me which one. Can anybody tell me how to get the DX2/50 recognised at full speed ? Cheers, J/. -- John Beardmore
