I've just upgraded to a SB16 (Vibra 16?) and I am having the same problem. The same CD-drive played on my older card which had the old style (non-IDE) CD-ROM interface; but in the new PC, it doesn't work. I have disabled the on-board IDE slot and used the motherboard's secondary master slot, which may be the cause. I will try ressurecting the SB16 IDE i/f as the tertiary IDE, and see if that works. I'll post here if so... Anybody else got any ideas in the meantime? *********** * Paul B. * (Still no witty sig.!) ***********
