You can get it from Directory Enquiries - just ask for "Coventry Trading
Standards Officer".
And while we are on the subject of bad service:
G & D COMPUTING of Buntingford, Herts take some beating.
I have been trying to get a rebate in lieu of a hard drive they wouldn't
replace, since 18th December 1995. Here's a copy of my last letter:

2nd April 1996
Dear Sir,
Further to my letters of 18th December 1995, 30th January 1996,
11th March 1996 and numerous phone calls, I have still not received
the refund of ukp135.13 for the faulty Hard drive I returned to you.
Unless I receive this amount by the end of this week I will be
contacting the Hertfordshire Trading Standards officer, copying this
letter over the Internet and taking action to recover the debt.
I list below the information relating to the problem:
At the beginning of November 1995 I ordered a new "Leading Edge"
486DX-66" computer fitted with a Quantum 540Meg hard drive from you.
I have a receipt for this, which I had to ask for later, dated
15/12/95 for ukp650.88.
On 11th December 1995 I phoned you because I had discovered that the
Quantum 540Meg hard drive supplied with the machine had over 7Megs of
"Bad Sectors" on it. I was told to return it and a replacement would
be sent to me.
I phoned on 15/12/95 and was told a new Hard drive was being sent.
I received a replacement Fujitsu 540Meg hard drive on 16/12/95.
This, too had "Bad Blocks" on it and I phoned again on 18/12/96 and
was told to return this also for a replacement.
I phoned again on 3/1/96 and was told a new drive would be checked
out and sent to me.
I phoned again on 8/1/96 and was then told you had a problem getting
the drives in but I should get one by the end of the week.
I phoned again on 22/1/96 and was told you still did not have any 540
drives in stock.
I phoned on 28/1/96 and agreed with "Jenny" that I could buy one myself
as you could not get any and was to send you a copy of the Invoice.
I bought a drive locally for ukp135.13 inc. VAT and agreed with Jenny
that G&D would refund me with that amount.
On 30/1/96 I wrote to you again enclosing a copy of the Invoice for the
540Meg hard drive that I had bought myself, asking for the refund.
I phoned again on 2/3/96 and spoke to someone who told me he would get
"Jenny" to deal with the refund.
I wrote on 11/3/96 asking again for the sum of ukp135.13 to cover the
replacement drive.
I phoned yet again on 20/3/96 and was told that Jenny had since left
the Company. The man I spoke to said he would arrange for the money
to be sent to me.
As of today I have received nothing.
It was bad enough being sent TWO faulty so-called "new" hard drives and
I am less than pleased about having to spend time writing to you and
ringing you up for three months to try and sort this out.
It has cost me a considerable amount in postage and numerous calls to
your answerphone and I will be expecting to recover an amount of over
ukp20 to compensate me for this expenditure.
Yours Etc.
-------------------------------------------------------
Regrettably I had to do this as I said in my letter that I would.
I doubt if I will ever see my money but am going to contact Trading
Standards and do whatever else I can to recover it.
AVOID G & D COMPUTING
John
