So perhaps Triton-II volume is just ramping up? ... Getting info out of intel is like getting blood out of the Tax Office. > I assume that the P6 will only be available in ATX m/b. Theoretically, yes. An ATX m/b will not fit in a non-ATX case. A 3.3V PSU is also required. One (the?) specific design feature of ATX was that the P6 sits in front of the PSU fan and .'. has no fan of its own. - So what about dual P6? I'm sure I saw "Baby-AT" written on the Asus P6 m/b specs. > > Already there's a "multimedia PCI slot" which I can't find specs for. > > > I thought this was proprietary slot only available on ASUS m/b. So did I. Maybe licensed, hopefully not another implementation. I'm wondering if it's just 1x 64-bit 33Mhz PCI slot, targetted at a future high-end Video card from Radius etc? Don't think the Orion chipsets supported 64-bit PCI though. > What happened to the multi-media features that were supposed to > incorporated into P5-150 & all P6. Native DSP a la P55c, due soon. Not very exciting. -- J.
