I had a simialr problem to you. After much grief with a VL bus board, I
ended up with the following:

The one I'm using at the moment is an Elite Group TD54P AIO.

  P133
  32 meg RAM
  256k sync cache
  Triton chip set
  On board floppy, 2 serial, 1 parallel ( I think ), 2 IDE busses
  Socket 7

Goes like shit off a shovel but no on board sound which at least gives you
a choice of card.

Armari systems: 0181 810 7441. Talk to Dan.

I use it with DOS, Win 3.11, OS/2 Warp and NT 3.51 all the time, booting
DOS, win16 and Warp off the IDE drives and NT 3.51 off Atilla the SCSI
drive. No problems with any of it.
