hi there, Can somebody please help. I sent the message below about a week and a half ago and the discussion vered of into NT land! BTW, I have succesfully reformatted the drive and installed things etc. But I stil need help on the 1st paragraph below... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just starting to find my way around the pc, one re-ocurring problem I have is with doc/help files. Wether I open either from within a prog or just click on it in filemanager, they always need resizing to full screen. docs usually seem to use write or notepad, help is always the nice help-screen format. Is there a way to make them always open full screen? I use windows 3.11 and pcdos7, which reminds me, what is the general consensus on pcdos7 ? Is it any good compared to 'normal' dos? I got my pc (dx4/100) from escom, and I'm going to reformat the drive this weekend coming, as there's to much crap on it, and os2warp is on there as well. What's the order of setting things up/installing, that I should follow? I have a mach64 video card, cdrom and an aztech sound card plus all the drivers for them. Gulp! What started as a quick Q, ended up as a list sorry... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- TIA,Clive -- +-- FAQ-ALERT :) -- *** UPDATE OF BOTH FAQs ON DEMON *** ------------+ | Amosaic : amiga/docs/AMFAQ104G.lha - AmigaGuide | | amiga/docs/AMFAQ104H.lha - HTML | | UMS : amiga/docs/UMSFAQv2.lha - Text | +----------------------- A hint of Douglas Fir needles in the air ---+
