I too have a 750Cs with PCMCIA Ethernet (Portable-Addons'). I went through a
whole day of grief when I upgraded, as before I used not to use the PCMCIA
drivers but a PA supplied TSR instead.

Two immediate suggestions come to mind,

1) Have you downloaded the latest PCMCIA drivers for the TP750 from the UK
IBM bulletin board? I know this was the solution to at least a few of my
problems.

2) Have you set the EMM_EXCLUDE memory areas in your Windoze system.ini as
well?

3) What port address are you using? I use IRQ 5, Port 300.

4) Do you have the docking "station". If so this may be conflicting too.

Hope this is of some use to you, at least d:^)
