I have obtained a Philips CM 8852 monitor with no documentation. It has a TTL RGB input on a DIN socket and a SCART connector marked 'VCR'. Testing it with my parents' VCR (el-basico Amstrad) I got sound and a uniform greenish screen. Their VCR only provides a composite video output, and not separate RGB. Tracing the board inside the monitor indicates that it definitely accepts RGB but may not like composite video. If anyone has information on this monitor I would be very grateful to receive it. Its final use is likely to me on my teenage nephew's Amiga. (If it is compatible.) Thanks in advance for any help. -- Chris Isbell Southampton, England chris@isbell.demon.co.uk +44 1703 465367
