Go into the Windis setup and then the Unbatch option;  then disable 'background 
unbatching'.   This method will 'hog the system' whilt it unbatches, but it will be 
a lot faster.  Also expire your news regularly to reduce your history file.

I think moving the mouse causes interrupts which strangely appears to speed up the 
software's background unbatching.  If unbatching takes a long time, then remember 
to do it offline, when it's free.  You can leave the unbatching to NewsWin to do if 
you wish.
