Dear Techies, Recently I have been given an IBM PS2 model 30 (thats a 286 with 30M HD and MicroChannel Bus). My queries are: (1) Is it possible to upgrade this to have a 386 processor, and (2) Replace with a larger disk? Any suggestions of who might be able to do the task. Or is this really not economical as I suspect? The second option I was thinking was to replace the motherboard with a ISA motherboard. But then the HD will have to be replaced (probably not a great loss) but the floppy may be more of a problem? Any futher suggestions? Pros and cons? Thanks for listening and taking the time to answer. Regards, Zahid -- Zahid Hussain BSc PhD(Lond) E-mail: Zahid@rajshahi.demon.co.uk
