I used to have several magazine articles on the subject of tuning
Windows 3.1x - esoteric settings in WIN.INI & SYSTEM.INI, SMARTDRV
cache settings & VM, etc, etc. - but have now mislaid them.  Can
anyone point me to a repository of such wisdom? - perhaps a FAQ
I can get by FTP, or something like that?

My work setup is pretty ordinary - a 486DX-33 with 8MB RAM, the only
special bits being QEMM 7.04, ANSI.SYS, QuickLink, BACS & DIS.
