The CMOS battery of a friend of mine's computer has given up the ghost.
The problem is that he is having a great deal of difficulty finding a
replacement, or even a battery of similar nature. Is anyone able to
point to a source of supply for these things or even able to supply one.
The details of the battery are: 3.6v high energy lithium, with a name of
TADIRAN, No TL5242/W. It is mounted off the motherboard on the case and
has two wires connected to the board. The physical dimensions are approx
2.5" * .5" * .5". Any assistance ASAP would be greatly appreciated. TIA
