I've run a Gateway 4DX2-66P for over a year with no problems. The
(freephone) telephone support has been excellent when I've been adding
bits & pieces and ballsed up. I believe it's lifetime free support.
BTW I read Grahams Wilsons post. Hasn't been my experience. I don't
expect telephone technicians to be rocket scientists, just to have some
nous and some extra info to hand. Maybe his style pissed them off.

We use Gateway P90's at work (about 12 in all) and so far as I know
the only problems have been a dodgy monitor plus a couple delivered
without hard drives (but we were hassling them to deliver & they
reckoned they hadn't got the drives we needed!) .

And they're pretty cheap, but you have to buy from Gateway & pay their
delivery charges.
