4 years ago I used to run a Tandon 286 with a Tadiran CMOS backup battery which went flat. After much grief trying to find a replacement I eventually got one, ex stock, from ALL BATTERIES of Watford (Tel: 01923 770044) at a very reasonable price. I seem to remember they were very helpful compared to Tandon and took a credit card order over the phone. I hope they are still trading, they might be worth a try. -- Nick Thearle
