DEST PC Scan 3000 & PC Scan Plus PROBLEMS (desperate!)

Ok...DESPERATE now..

What can it mean that the scanner DEST PC Scan 3000 starts flashing its
yellow and green lights as soon as its SCSI cable is connected to its
controller card (EVEN IF THE CARD IS NOT IN THE PC)?

If I connect it to a Corel LS2000 card the same thing happens!

The PC Scan Plus scanner gives a Y in its LED when downloading driver
software to it. Does ANYONE know anything about DEST Scanners anymore??

(Going mad very painfully!!!!)
