Is there any way to convert the USB interface provided by the basic ADSL service to 10BaseT ethernet as I am running a unix box that does not have a USB port and I do not want to have to pay for the more expensive service. Can the provided adaptor/modem be junked and a adsl to 10BaseT bridge/router be used in its place? Also does anyone know how to connect a unix box to this service, I'm running Solaris 7 Simon.

You will want to pay for the more expensive service since the cheapest ADSL will probably end up slower than v.90. 50:1 contention on a 512kbit line = sloooooow TB Busby the Cat 1984 - 22.9.1999
