Matt's chile relleno is definitely good, but the best I've had in
Dallas was at Martin's Cocina in East Dallas on Ferguson. Martin's
Cocina was supposedly Matt's first restaruant in Dallas (don't
know what it was called then) and Martin worked for him. Then
Matt moved on and Martin stayed. Unfortunately the place closed
a couple or so years ago due to a fire and has never reopened as
far as I know. I'd say Matt's relleno gets to 85-90% of what
Martin's was, and is usually what I order when I go to Matt's.
