Well after my Time Warner internet going up and down through the day, and
the TV quality changing from month to month and station to station, Which I
had the same problem with Comcast , they always blamed the signal strength
and would come out and fix it only to have it happen a few months later and
the fact that Comcast still does my phones and sent me a letter saying they
no longer do phones in my area and I need to switch to another phone carrier
I decided to go ahead and switch to Werizon. My only issue was having to be
in a contract because I was thinking about moving in the future but Verizon
told me it was free to move my service from one house to another and if my
new area did not support Verizon then there would be no charge to cancel the
contract early. For internet, TV, and 2 phone lines its about $10-$20
cheaper than Time Warner and the telephone sales lady gave me another $20
off per month for the first year as a added value plus I now get unlimited
long distance on both lines which is nice since my wife uses long distance
and we have been using cell phones or phone cards even though we had MCI for
long distance on our Comcast lines and I am getting a few extra movie
channels . There TV setup was a little different than most. Movies where
$12.95 a month and includes Starz, Cinemax, and something else I cant
remember but to get HBO it was separate and a cost of $15.00. And the fact
that Time Warner just changed there channel line up and all my channel
number are different numbers than what they have been for the last 4 years
so its a pain having to search for the channels you liked watching on a
regular basis until you remember the new channels. So all in all it sounds
like a good deal. IF the install goes well next week, which I am not
counting on but hey it could happen I should be a happy camper.
