1 teen dead, 2 wounded in shooting

Dallas police are investigating the shooting death of an 18-year-old
Arlington woman. 

Police said a group of teenagers were congregating in the 2300 block of
Wynnewood at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday when a dark-colored pickup truck drove
by and fired into the group, striking three people. Police said Ashley
Hernandez died as a result of her injuries. 

A 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man also were shot, but police said
their injuries are not likely life threatening. They were in local
hospitals Sunday, but their names were not released. 

Police said based on witness statements, the shooting may have been
gang-related.
