[Yawn] Kind of lame for a conspiracy theory. This is the same old fear mongering perpetuated by the real masters of public opinion manipulation. Consider their other greatest hits: - Saddaam has Weapons of Mass Destruction - Anyone labelled as an "enemy combatant" is too dangerous to have the rights of counsel, to know the charges against them, to be tried in a court, to face their accuser, etc. - Osama bin Laden and nineteen poorly trained arab terrorists, hijacked sophisticated commercial airlines, brought down the Twin Towers, and punched a small hole in the Pentagon. - North Vietnamese patrol boats attacked U.S. warships in the Gulf of Tonken. - Israel's attack on the U.S.S. Liberty was just a big mistake. - John Kennedy's assassination was the work of a single deranged fanatic. - "Greed is good." - We need more immigrant workers in the U.S. because most americans are too lazy to work for low wages. - We need to study global warming more, before we wreck our economy over expensive solutions that won't work. - service sector jobs produce just as much wealth as do actual manufacturing productions jobs. The war in Iraq is not over because the american people have lost control of their government. [Period][end of story] All of this B.S. about Islamo-fascism is just another made-to-order boogey man manufactured to scare the masses in to more mindless support of insane policies and needless bloodshed.
