Since the Japanese became Westernized as a result, perhaps the same "nuclear strategy" would demonstrate who kicks ass. Sending our troops to be blown apart in hand to hand, like the Middle Ages is a truly American concept of macho warfare. Like Patton said, "No one ever won a war by dying for their country. You win the war by making the other poor son of a bitch die for his country." Nuke 'em and Westernize 'em.
