That is the most idiotic idea I've ever heard of.  Any professional soldier 
would laugh silly at this bullshit.

Son, on auto fire, the M16, for example, and almost every auto rifle in the 
world, is so ridicously easy to fire and so little recoil that the upward 
to the right spray, like using a .45 cal Tommy gun, which was the first 
real instance of problems with autofire of a machine gun, is negligent.

If you're holding a BAR or similar hand held auto, you simply adjust for 
the slight upward tendency and hold it down.

And only morons use auto fire anyway.  Unless you're on a 20MM ack ack 
trying to shoot down an airplane.  Even then it's just a thumper.

You fire 2-4 round bursts and you learn to use 3 round bursts at a time.

With a 3 round burst, done correctly, you can triple tap some asshole at 50 
years with a nice 10" circle right on their chest.  Anymore is overkill and 
just leaves you with an empty clip while the more professional and calmer 
soldier then rises up and shoots you're stupid ass dead while you're 
fumbling with clips.

And this also brings to mind my pet peeve, two idiocies that are taught at 
all police academies and such, and I can't trace where this stupidity came 
from, but somewhere around the laste 70's all of a sudden everyone went 
from the single hand grip to the excreably stupid double hand grip on side 
arms.

What moron started this idiotic fad?  Why did everyone in the world copy 
it?
All you do with a double hand grip is to expose your center mass to return 
fire.
I've even seen movies about cops where the idiot jumps around a corner in a 
house with a known armed bad guy inside and jumps around the corner with 
his stupid hand grip, becuase to use one hand and quickly peer around the 
corner with one hand holding the gun and only exposing your hand, gun and 
your head for 1/2 second seems beyond the intelligence of our police 
departements.
The correct way is to get on one knee, shift your gun to you left hand ( 
you should have had plenty of shooting practice with either hand by now) 
set yourself steady, and then quickly extend your hand with gun and head at 
a lower angle around the corner for a quick peek.

You have the 1 second opportunity to fire or duck back.  At a lower, floor 
or knee level exposure you trick the opponent who is always expecting 
something to come around the corner at 5-7' in height, not on the ground or 
lower.  Gives you that 1 second edge that is critical and keeps you alive.

This and many other tactical solutions I thought was common sense....but 
instead I see nothing but idiocy in P. Depts and army movies these days.

I even see, like in that idiot film "The Hurt Locker" ( movie about 
soldiers in Iraq) all the troopers walking down the middle of a hostile 
fucking street, all bunched together, crouched over and walking 
slowly....like that's going to save their stupid asses, hunched over!  
Directed by a women so that's why it's so stupid.

What was the use of all that millions they used to train me...and then 20 
years later every swinging dick in the world is being taught to do it 
completely wrong, like fucking morons?

That last idiocy I see is this idiotic "flashlight" bullshit in cop shows.

So what does this moron cop do?

They use that two handed idiot shooter grip, with the flashlight ON, and 
held right at center mass! And they walk slowly right up the middle of the 
room~!!!!!!!

What fucking moron came up with that?

I mean, doesn't anyone figure that a bad guy, wanting to shoot someone, 
would aim right at the center of the light source???????

I can't wait for the next pandemic....all these morons who can't think and 
just watch movies will die like flies doing stupid shit like that as they 
fight to survive.
