Attempts to intimidate and discourage opposition voters are accepted
political practices.

For example, we used to hire off-duty police officers to stand outside the
polling place in black precincts. Just stand there. In uniform. The theory
was that many voters would rather not take the chance on being recognized
than vote. Worked swell.

Another nifty trick was to allocate too few voting machines to Democrat
precincts causing long lines, frustration, and reduced turn-out. Poll
watchers can challenge every voter, requiring the voter to fill out an
affidavit - again, throwing a monkey-wrench in the efficiency of the system.

Of course, the Democrats retaliate by voting dead people and illegal aliens,
so it evens out.
