Web Application Developer

Job Description: Design, document, develop, and maintain web sites and
related database back end systems. Web development including
application architecture, database development from start through test
to implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

# Responsible for the development of custom web parts, workflows,
InfoPath forms, business data catalogs and other aspects of MOSS.
Develop and maintain audiences and role-based permissions. Adhere to
and extend the taxonomy. Develop and maintain templates for content
entry. Maintain search scopes, keywords, synonyms, and best bets. #
Design and document application architecture, analysis,
specifications, and requirements. Document all changes and maintain
metadata. # Resolve technical issues. # Understand business
functionalities being delivered through current internal manual
process and provide alternatives using SharePoint. # Identify and
manage assigned project milestones/deadlines. # As necessary, performs
other duties as required.

EDUCATION:

# BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, or other IT related field preferred

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

# A minimum of 3-5 years experience in web based applications
development, Internet, Intranet, and Extranet # Expert level
experience with Microsoft ASP.NET, C#, VB.Net # Must have experience
using the .NET framework version 2 and up # Must have experience using
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008 # Must have experience with the
SharePoint Server Software Development Kit # Must have experience
developing and implementing custom InfoPath forms, Workflows, Web
Parts # Must have experience working within a structured (iterative
models preferred) development lifecycle and methodology, Systems
Integration and Infrastructure Optimization experience; leveraging
documented APIs and related SharePoint Products and Technologies #
Ability to architect a technical solution including detailed written/
visual documentation with strong analytical and problem solving
skills
