It's a sad day for Mexican scumbags in San Antonio.

Funny how the same dirty Mexicans and illegals, who rally in support of
similar illegals and Mexican criminals, are the first to whimper about
"not being protected adequately" from their -own-, by law enforcement.

Just hilarious! ;-)

All hail the Police Chief William McManus Crime Response Unit.

The task force unites 65 San Antonio Police Department officers --
including the entire gang unit and members of narcotics, SWAT and the
Repeat Offenders Program -- to target crime-riddled areas in the community.
The unit will also involve the help of outside law enforcement and city
agencies.

Thursday's shooting happened soon after the announcement, around 6 p.m.,
across town on the corner of Interstate 10 and Martin Luther King Jr.
Boulevard.

Two to three unidentified men in their 20s shot a truck driver in the chest
after he and a woman stopped at a gas station.

The man went to Brooke Army Medical Center where his condition was upgraded
to stable late Thursday.

Members of SAPD's gang unit also responded to the shooting because the area
is a "known hot spot" for gangs and drug addicts, said Sgt. Sam Esparza.

Esparza said McManus' new unit would help address some of the problems that
plague the area.

"It's going to be quite effective," the sergeant said. "It's not that it's
going to be better, but it's going to be larger, bigger."

The unit will deploy for the first time next Wednesday and will operate
every day. The officers will meet daily for roll call on the streets and
then move to troubled areas as determined by a board of substation
commanders.

"It will be mobile, it will be agile," McManus said.
